Veidekke's Danish subsidiary Hoffman A/S has entered into a contract withSquare Copenhagen ApS , part of the German real estate company Proteus, for the renovation and reconstruction of Helmerhus, a historic building located atCopenhagen City Hall Square . The contract value isDKK 580 million . "We look forward to restoring and transforming a historicCopenhagen landmark with respect for the city - together with Hoffmann and our partners," says Dr. Jürgen Büllesbach, CEO of Proteus. Helmerhus was originally constructed in the year 1900. When reconstruction is completed, the building will comprise 15,000 square meters of office space, 1,200 square meters of residential space and 3,000 square meters of retail and F & B space. The project has been developed by Hoffmann, VITA enginiører,Henning Larsen Architects ,Emcon and AM Alpha. "We are excited to be carrying out the transformation of Helmerhus.
