Vela Technologies PLC - Early stage-focused technology investor - Posts a pretax profit of GBP502,000 for the first half ended September 30, swinging from a loss of GBP127,000 the year prior. Reports no revenue for the period, unchanged from the previous year. Says that it is "cautiously optimistic" of its long-term future, and is committed to its investment strategy.
