Veolia announces the success of its Sequoia 2023 employee shareholding operation: offered to 190,000 employees in 49 countries, it was subscribed to by nearly 79,000 employees, representing a subscription rate of close to 42%.
The amount invested, around 222 million euros including leverage, resulted in the issue of 10,027,792 new Veolia shares, representing 1.4% of the share capital of the French public services group.
At the close of Sequoia 2023, employees strengthen their position as Veolia's largest shareholder, holding more than 7.5% of the capital. As of December 13, this issue brings the total number of Veolia shares outstanding to 725,411,667.

Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (21.5%), Europe (41.9%), North America (7.4%), Asia (5.6%), Africa and the Middle East (4.9%), Pacific (4.3%), Latin America (4%) and other (10.4%).
