PARIS (France) - Viadeo, the leading professional social network (PSN) in France, today passed the 10 million member mark in the country. This is a symbolic milestone, and a clear indicator of the network's continued success since the launch of its "New Vision" positioning at the start of the year.

Throughout this period, the company has already launched a number of new developments on both the mobile and web platforms, including a new home page, an enhanced news feed providing more relevant, personalized information, improved company searching, and a completely revamped design.

In March the company also launched a new advertising campaign on an unprecedented scale in order to consolidate this new brand identity and to showcase the solutions Viadeo has to offer employees and job seekers in tackling the challenges of today's professional world, including regular company changes and the emergence of new forms of work.

More new features on the way to our 10 million members

With this phase of development set to continue at pace, the 10 million French professionals on Viadeo will soon be able to enjoy several new features allowing them to interact more effectively in their professional environment, set up professional meetings with ease, and get advice and recommendations on companies from other members. Ultimately, this will help to further establish Viadeo as the key player in an evolving job market, where visibility and developing personal employability are absolutely vital in maximizing your career development.

Dan Serfaty, CEO of the Viadeo group, commented: "Passing the 10 million member mark is a real vote of confidence and something we are extremely proud of. It's also a landmark that will drive us to keep providing our members with extra value and more services in order to allow them to make the most of new opportunities brought about by the latest developments in the job market."

Viadeo estimations based on a comparison between the number of registered Viadeo members and the number of registered members published on the respective websites of the Group's two main competitors for the markets within which they operate.
