Vieworks Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A100120) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase KRW 5,000 million worth of its shares pursuant to a trust contract with Samsung Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is to enhance shareholder value and to stabilize stock price. The program will expire on August 19, 2021. As of August 19, 2021, the company had 578,927 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury under other capacities.
Vieworks Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of digital medical imaging systems. The Company provides charge coupled device (CCD) type digital radiography (DR) detectors and flat panel (FP) type DR detectors with window-based diagnostic image processing systems; radio frequency (RF) detectors used in RF rooms and angiography applications, and other products under the brand name Maxxray, QXR, ViVX, Slimpac II, Sky and others. It also provides industrial cameras. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including the United State, Japan, China, Europe and others.
