Power Solution Vina Co., Ltd. announced that it expects to receive KRW 2.17 billion in funding from VINATech Co., Ltd.

Power Solution Vina Co., Ltd. announced an equity private placement for gross proceeds of KRW 2,168,600,000 on December 7, 2017. The transaction will include participation from existing investor VINATech Co., Ltd. (XKON:A126340). Post the closing, the investor will continue to hold 100% stake in the company. The transaction is expected to close on March 7, 2018. The transaction was approved by the board of directors of the investor.
VINATECH CO.,LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the production and sale of super capacitors. Super capacitors include electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs), as well as pseudo electric double layer capacitors (P-EDLCs). In addition, the Company is involved in the manufacturing and sale of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs), deodorants, lithium lon capacitors (LICs). The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including America, China, Japan, Europe, and India.
