Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 889.217 million compared to TWD 649.635 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 281.820 million compared to TWD 166.428 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 224.741 million compared to TWD 141.012 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.22 compared to TWD 0.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.21 compared to TWD 0.76 a year ago.
Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of photoelectric semiconductor epitaxial chips and components. The Companyâs primary products include heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) wafers, pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) wafers, indium phosphide (InP) HBT wafers, wafer bonding light emitting diodes (LEDs), gallium arsenide (GaAs) personal identification number (PIN) and indium GaAs (InGaAs) PIN, among others. Its products are mainly used in wireless communication systems, including power amplifiers, frequency converters and others.
