MakeSens announced a private placement of 968,523 shares at a price of CAD 0.826 per share for the gross proceeds of CAD 799,999.998 on May 31, 2021. The transaction included participation from new investor VITZROCELL Co.,Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A082920) for 46.57% stake in the company. The transaction has been approved by board of directors of the investor. The company will raise the funds through paid-in capital increase method. The transaction is expected to close on June 1, 2021.
Vitzrocell Co Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of lithium batteries. The Company's products include lithium thionyl chloride (Li/SOCl2) bobbin type for memory backups and digital meters; Li/SOCl2 wound type for communication equipment, asset tracking equipment and global positioning systems (GPSs); Li/SOCl2 hybrid type for radio frequency identification (RFID) devices, asset tracking equipment and digital meters; lithium-manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) type for cameras and security devices, as well as Li-SOCl2 reserve type for military utilities such as guided weapons.
