Ways Technical Corp., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 206.587 million compared to TWD 213.201 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 85.416 million compared to TWD 106.305 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 127.169 million compared to TWD 77.532 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.3 compared to TWD 0.83 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 421.488 million compared to TWD 551.972 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 167.186 million compared to TWD 63.251 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 162.337 million compared to TWD 42.469 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.67 compared to TWD 0.46 a year ago.
WAYS TECHNICAL CORP., LTD. is principally engaged in the processing and assembly of Computer, Communication and Consumer Electronics (3C) products. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of coating and the sales of goods and components. The Companyâs surface treatment services are mainly applied to mobile phones, smart phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), PDA phones and global positioning systems (GPSs), among others. It provides different methods of surface treatment, including electroplating, sputtering, coating and printing. The Company operates its business mainly in Taiwan and Mainland China.
