Weikeng Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 17,421.02 million compared to TWD 18,680.07 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 542.85 million compared to TWD 455.34 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.29 compared to TWD 1.24 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.24 compared to TWD 1.08 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 34,345.56 million compared to TWD 34,503.21 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,048.75 million compared to TWD 729.39 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.5 compared to TWD 1.98 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.41 compared to TWD 1.72 a year ago.
Weikeng Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the agency distribution of electronic components and computer peripheral equipment, as well as technical services and import and export business. The products distributed by the Company can be classified according to product characteristics into chipsets/special application standard integrated circuits (ICs), mixed signals and distributed components. The application fields of distributed products include computer information, industrial electronics, consumer electronics, network communications, and automotive electronics. Products are mainly sold in China.
