Wiscom Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net loss was KRW 839.86 million compared to KRW 461.86 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 55 compared to KRW 30 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 55 compared to KRW 30 a year ago.
For the nine months, net loss was KRW 360.64 million compared to net income of KRW 1,213.13 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 24 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 79 a year ago. WISCOM CO.,LTD. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of plastic compounds. The Company principally produces polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, polyethylene (PE) compounds and other high functional resin compounds used in electrical cables, semiconductors, automobile interior decorations and ships. The Company is also involved in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) compounds, polystyrene (PS) compounds, as well as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compounds, which are provided to LG CHEM LTD.
