Wonik Pne Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A131390) entered into a share transfer agreement to acquire 38.02% stake in NS Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A217820) from Lee, Se-yong, Go, Eun-hwa, Lee Seon-hee and Lee, Hae-ji for KRW 59.5 billion on November 5, 2021. Transaction is expected to close on December 23, 2021.
Wonik Pne Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A131390) completed the acquisition of 38.02% stake in NS Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A217820) from Lee, Se-yong, Go, Eun-hwa, Lee Seon-hee and Lee, Hae-ji on December 23, 2021. The transaction is financed by KRW 14.5 billion from Wonik Pne Co., Ltd's own funds and KRW 45 billion from borrowings.
Wonik PNE Co Ltd, formerly NS Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of process automation equipment for mass production of lithium polymer secondary batteries. The Company is engaged in manufacture and sale of automation equipment for the assembly process and degassing process of medium and large-sized lithium polymer secondary batteries such as automobile secondary batteries and industrial secondary batteries. The Company is also engaged in the business such as film-type patterned retarder(FPR) cutting and inspection.
