Worthington Enterprises, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended February 29, 2024. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 316.76 million compared to USD 346.32 million a year ago. Net income was USD 22 million compared to USD 46.33 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.45. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.44. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.45 compared to USD 0.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 0.44 compared to USD 0.94 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 926.9 million compared to USD 1,049.69 million a year ago. Net income was USD 142.41 million compared to USD 126.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 2.9 compared to USD 2.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 2.83 compared to USD 2.57 a year ago.
