MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 16, 2013)-XRS Corporation, (NASDAQ: XRSC) the leader in mobile trucking intelligence, has been named a finalist in the Mobile Technologies category for the 2013 Tekne Awards by the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA). The Tekne Awards honor Minnesota companies and individuals that have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.
Launched in March 2013, XRS is the trucking industry's first and only complete mobile platform for compliance and fleet optimization. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The event will begin with a VIP reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by a general registration and reception at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., and the awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Paul Douglas, author, entrepreneur and meteorologist, will emcee the event.
