Y.S.Food Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:3358) announced a private placement of 2,200,000 shares at a price of ¥160 per share for the gross proceeds of ¥352,000,000 on August 18, 2020. The transaction will include participation from Kasumi Investment Partnership, a fund managed by Sora Co., Ltd. The company will common shares in the transaction through third party allotment. The transaction has been approved by board of directors of the company and subject to approval from 26th ordinary general meeting of shareholders of the company scheduled to be held on September 7, 2020. The transaction is expected to close on September 18, 2020. The company will pay ¥5,375,000 as cost of issuance in the transaction.
Y.S.FOOD CO., LTD. is a company principally engaged in the operation of restaurant chains. The Company operates in four business segments. The Restaurant segment is engaged in the operation of restaurants that specialize in noodle restaurants, dumplings and roast pork. It operates its restaurants, both direct-managed and franchised restaurants, under the names Chikuho Ramen Yamagoya, Basaraka and other brands. The Real Estate Leasing segment is involved in the leasing of the Company's real estate properties with a focus on store sites. The Beauty and Health segment is engaged in the operation of fasting studios. The Company is also involved in the sale of kitchen equipment in its franchised stores.
