Yamaichi Electronics Co. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the nine months, the company's net sales were JPY 20,833,631,000 compared to JPY 23,366,713,000 a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 2,725,200,000 compared to JPY 3,496,504,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,933,835,000 compared to JPY 2,822,905,000 a year ago. Basic net profit per share was JPY 86.53 compared to JPY 127.56 a year ago. Diluted net profit per share was JPY 86.21 compared to JPY 125.05 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2019. For the full year, the company expects net sales of JPY 26,760 million, operating profit of JPY 2,900 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 2,180 million or JPY 97.99 per share.
