LJH Investment Fund 1, Daon Investment Association, and SJ Investment Fund agreed to acquire 13.23167% stake in Young Poong Paper Mfg Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A006740) from Daiyang Metal Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A009190) for KRW 30.7 billion on November 23, 2022. Upon closing Daiyang Metal will hold 37.53% stake in Young Poong. The transaction is expected to close on January 22, 2023. As of January 19, 2023, the transaction is expected to close on March 31, 2023.

YOUNG POONG PAPER MFG. CO., LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of paper boards. The Company provides two categories of products: core boards and liner boards. Its core boards are used in manufacturing of paper cores and paper tubes. Its liner boards are used in manufacturing of corrugated cardboards and corrugated boxes. In addition, the Company is engaged in the real estate rental business. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
