Zig Sheng Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,149.67 million compared to TWD 2,990.2 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 224.47 million compared to TWD 82.73 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 7,525.08 million compared to TWD 8,097.35 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 177.79 million compared to net income of TWD 841.64 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.33 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.58 a year ago.
ZIG SHENG INDUSTRAIL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and trading of textured yarns, nylon filaments and nylon chips. Its textured yarns products include function yarns, high stretch yarns, nylon yarns, multifilament and fancy yarns, among others. Its nylon filament products include fine filament yarns, polyester pre-oriented yarns, oxford yarns and industrial yarns. Its nylon chips products include spinning grade nylon chips and engineering plastic grade nylon chips. The Company also provides compound materials. The Company operates businesses in domestic market and overseas markets, including Europe, Americas, Africa, Oceania and Southeast Asia, among others.
