Guinta, CPA, is a Principal at Homrich & Berg, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at Medshare International, Inc. He provides wealth management services to a diverse client base of families and individuals.
His expertise is primarily in financial planning, including estate and income tax, charitable giving and family foundation/trust management.
Prior to joining Homrich Berg in 1999, Mr. Guinta was a member of the private client services group of Arthur Andersen, providing investment and financial planning advice primarily to corporate executives.
He also served as tax manager and controller for Market Street Trust Company, the private trust company providing family office services to the descendants of the founders of Corning, Inc. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees and past Treasurer of MedShare.
Mr. Guinta received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs Personal Financial Planning Division, the Georgia Society of CPAs Estate and Financial Planning Section, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

from 1986 to 1997.
She also worked as a Vice President-Clinical Research & Development at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. Guinta holds a doctorate degree from The University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from Trinity College (Connecticut).

Mr. Joseph Guinta is Vice President & Portfolio Manager at DG Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Guinta joined DG Capital in November 2008.
He began his investment career at Smith Barney Shearson in 1985, working with numerous individual and institutional investors as a Portfolio Manager and Vice President.
In addition, he provided research and investment strategy advice to three New York Stock Exchange Member Firms.
In March of 1994, he joined Gruntal & Co. as an Equity Trader and Portfolio Manager in the proprietary trading department.
He left Gruntal & Co. in July of 1995 to start Fair Haven Capital, where he was a co-founder, Managing Member and CIO.
