New member of the Geberit Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Geberit AG will nominate Eunice Zehnder-Lai for election to the Board of Directors at the 2017 General Meeting.

The Geberit AG Board of Directors will nominate Mrs Eunice Zehnder-Lai as a new member of the Board of Directors at the ordinary General Meeting on 5 April 2017. The nomination will be made within the context of succession planning, with Regi Aalstad stepping down from the Board of Directors at the same General Meeting.

Eunice Zehnder-Lai (born in 1967) is CEO of IPM Institut für Persönlichkeitsorientiertes Management, a firm headquartered in Pfäffikon (CH) that offers solutions to enhance the efficiency of interaction with customers, teams and employees. Before joining IPM she spent almost 20 years working in the finance industry for LGT Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in New York, London, Hong Kong and Switzerland. She worked in asset management, private wealth management and corporate finance as well as for Procter & Gamble in marketing and brand management. Eunice Zehnder-Lai holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University (USA).

The Board of Directors is convinced that in Eunice Zehnder-Lai it has found an important new member for the Geberit Board of Directors. She brings with her a wealth of broad and long-standing international experience in a diverse range of functions and tasks. In the opinion of the Board of Directors, her convincing communicative and analytical abilities and her personality that fits very well with the Geberit culture make her the ideal candidate to make a major contribution to the future success of the Geberit Group.
