Shopping centre owner intu has signed up popular British lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas at intu Chapelfield as part of the independent retailer's expansion to new areas of the UK.

The 2,000 sq ft store adds to an already impressive retail offering at intu Chapelfield. The brand will offer its unique range of homeware, gifts and fashion collections, designed in-house by the Oliver Bonas team.

Oliver Bonas is inspired by the alchemy of great design and the belief that all design has the power to positively affect how we feel. Oliver Bonas, which opened its first store in 1993, now has over 70 stores across the UK, and will continue to increase its store presence outside of London with this new location in Norwich.

Oliver Tress, founder and CEO of Oliver Bonas, commented: "We can't wait to add to intu Chapelfield's already vibrant retail mix with our carefully-curated designs and fresh-thinking products. intu Chapelfield offers the perfect location for us to expand and flourish within the affluent East Anglia region with our first Norwich store."

Rebecca Ryman, regional managing director at intu, commented: "intu Chapelfield is a very popular location for high-calibre brands like Oliver Bonas looking to expand their physical presence into the east of England and attract new customers for the first time."

Cosmetics store Lush has also agreed terms with intu to expand into a larger 2,700 sq ft unit while Norwich-based jewellery store, Lisa Angel, is opening a permanent unit in the lower mall following the success of a pop-up shop in the centre's mall.
