Keywords Studios, the international technical and creative services provider to the global video games industry and beyond, today announces that it has acquired Syllabes from Nicolas Charbonneaux, a well-known voice actor, audio creative and set director in the Montreal entertainment community.

The acquisition of Syllabes brings a new games and film/TV audio recording studio to Keywords, completing the full suite of services provided out of its Montreal hub.

Founded in 2004, in Montreal, Syllabes provides audio recording and casting services for the video games industry in both French and English, as well as for a range of media and entertainment partners.

It also provides sound design services, audio description and audiobook recording services and it is well known in Montreal for its Academy, a training school for local actors, specialised in teaching dubbing and voice acting.

Nicolas Charbonneaux, founder and President of Syllabes, brings a wealth of experience and will now transition into a creative supervising role.

He commented: 'Keywords has been a model of growth and integration for me, in particular in Montreal. And after years collaborating on a wide range of projects, I'm so glad that we are now able to define a common future for Syllabes within Keywords.
