NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Magazine Luiza S.A. ("Company" or "Magalu"), in compliance with Section 157, paragraph 4th, of the Law No. 6,404, dated December 15, 1976, as amended, by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission ("CVM") 358 of January 3, 2002, as amended, and Article 6.6.1 of the Novo Mercado Regulation of B3 SA - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão, announces to its shareholders and the market in general that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Grupo Carrefour Brasil ("Carrefour") for a six- month pilot project to test a new business model using the experience and knowledge of the two companies for the sale of appliances, electronics and similar products within two Carrefour stores.

Under this new business model, Magalu will operate the categories of appliances, electronics and similar products of two Carrefour stores and will be responsible, among other things, for the commercial strategy, product availability, delivery and management of the sales teams of these categories.

The project is consistent with Magalu's efforts to create the best digital and multichannel buying experience for customers.

The Company reiterates that the agreement is for a pilot project limited to two stores and a specific term, and that any eventual expansion of the partnership will need to be jointly evaluated and discussed. Magalu will keep its shareholders and the market in general duly informed, in accordance with applicable legislation.
