Learn, understand and participate at a hands-on level: Under the motto 'Just do it!', the 2019 IdeenExpo will once again attract numerous visitors from all over Germany to Hanover. By the end of the trade fair on June 23, there will be around 300,000, primarily young people, who have learned about natural sciences, technology and careers. IdeenExpo is Europe's largest youth event for the natural sciences and technology. Undoubtedly one of the highlights in Hanover: the Volkswagen stand, divided into 25 smaller areas. There, visitors can experience many fascinating exhibits, inviting them to join in and get on board.

For example, eGon, the cutaway model of an e-Golf2: Eight trainees have revealed the entire electronics and associated wiring in order to gain an insight into the complex technology of an electric car. In another area of the trade fair stand, visitors can make small ladybirds capable of moving thanks to an electric motor - and these are not the only exhibits on display at the trade fair. You can see what else Volkswagen has to offer at IdeenExpo in the video.
