Roth, CFA MBA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Public Markets & Absolute Return at The University of Chicago Endowment.
She is responsible for the University’s investments in credit-oriented and relative value absolute return funds, private debt, fixed income securities, and credit funds.
Prior to this appointment, she served as the senior portfolio manager for the University’s investment in private equity limited partnerships.
Prior to joining University of Chicago Endowment in 2007, Ms. Roth was vice president of finance and corporate development at optionsXpress, an online trading and brokerage firm.
From 1997 to 2006, she was a vice president in the mergers and acquisitions group of BMO Capital Markets, and prior to that she was with Merrill Lynch in the private sales and divestiture group where she was engaged in merger and acquisition assignments for middle market companies.
Ms. Roth earned her MBA from Georgetown University and received a BA in economics from Tufts University.
