Prior to joining 1st Global Advisors, Mr. Honea served as a regional retirement consultant for Fidelity Investments assisting current corporate retirement plan clients in implementing plans for their retirement.
He was also vice president of Sales at National Financial (Fidelity Investments) where he was responsible for developing new correspondent broker/dealer relationships on the West Coast.
He has worked within the financial services industry for more than 16 years.
Mr. Honea graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
He is a registered representative who passed the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 examinations, and he holds the California Life and Health Insurance License.
