Carsten Beck is a Managing Director of KPS Capital Partners and responsible for the European / German business development.
KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $13.1 billion of assets under management (as of December 31, 2021) focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.
Prior to joining KPS in 2022 Mr. Beck was a Director at Barclays in London where he worked on transactions in the manufacturing space.
Prior to Barclays, Mr. Beck was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt and New York, advising on M&A across various industries.
He began his career with McKinsey & Company in Germany.
Mr. Beck received a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Columbia University, a M.B.A.
from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and a B.B.A.
from Ecole Superieure de Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC), France.
