Dane Smith

Mr. Dane Smith is a Managing Director at SSgA Funds Management, Inc. Previously at SSGA, Mr. Smith was a member of the Alternative Investments team where he was responsible for investment management, research, and product development across multiple absolute return strategies.
He began at SSGA as a Product Analyst within Consultant Relations.
He has over 12 years of experience with the firm.
Before joining SSGA in 2007, Mr. Smith worked in Client Management at Investors Bank and Trust and served as the Deputy Finance Director to a senior U.S.
Senator.
Mr. Smith holds an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a BA in Political Science from Providence College.
