Warren is Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer at DW Partners LP.
He founded the firm in March 2009.
He oversees and has ultimate responsibility for all activities of the Firm.
He has spent nearly three decades actively involved in the capital markets, with extensive experience in structured finance and corporate investing.
Prior to founding DW, Mr. Warren was a Partner and Head of Credit Trading at Brevan Howard, as well as CEO of Brevan Howard’s U.S.
business.
Mr. Warren joined Brevan Howard in 2008 from Morgan Stanley, where he ran multiple corporate credit trading desks, including a proprietary trading team.
Mr. Warren oversaw a dozen trading teams, comprising traders, analysts, and technologists, with product scope from investment grade to high yield to distressed, across loans, bonds, convertible bonds, derivatives, and post-reorganization equity in New York, London and Hong Kong.
From 1994-2000, Mr. Warren ran similar trading and capital markets teams for Morgan Stanley’s mortgage and asset-backed businesses, which originated and traded a wide range of assets, from residential and commercial mortgages to student loans, aircraft and equipment, tax liens, royalty streams and other collateral types.
Mr. Warren joined Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director in 1994 from CS First Boston, where he was a Managing Director also focused on mortgage and asset-backed investments and structured products.
Mr. Warren graduated from Yale University in 1986 with a BS in Computer Science.
