David S. Ogg

Mr. Ogg is known for his ability to launch new businesses and is widely regarded as a visionary in the field of foreign exchange.
Mr. Ogg was previously the founder and CEO of the first institutional FX ECN, HotspotFX and also the founder and CEO of LavaFX.
He was the first to pioneer the use of prime brokerage as a means to trade FX anonymously.
At LavaFX, he was the first to incorporate sophisticated trading algorithms into an FX execution venue.
Mr. Ogg has established a record of raising capital in the venture community and has closed multiple rounds of financing for businesses he has founded.
Mr. Ogg’s strong, successful trading and sales background at major financial institutions earlier in his career make up an integral part of his background.
Mr. Ogg currently serves as the CEO of Ogg Trading, a NJ based company focused on innovations in the FX industry including dark pools and algorithmic aggregation technology.
Early in his career, Mr. Ogg ran Foreign Exchange in NY for Credit Suisse, HSBC, Lehman Brothers and Dresdner.
Under his leadership, his teams produced record revenues and top Euromoney rankings.
Mr. Ogg was also the most profitable trader globally at Credit Suisse.
Mr. Ogg graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Economics.
