Previously, Mr. Wright provided investment banking and advisory services to an array of clients in the technology, mining and energy sectors with an independent investment dealer, while concurrently acting as Director of Research for Mission Hills Capital Partners, a private equity firm targeting mainland Chinese investment opportunities.
Prior to this, He gained extensive capital markets experience as a Managing Director and top ranked equity research analyst for BMO Capital Markets, and previously as a Director of Research for Marleau, Lemire Securities (acquired by Dundee Securities), covering software and IT services companies.
Among numerous awards, in 2008, Mr. Wright’s research coverage was ranked first in the Greenwich Survey, while in 2002, he was named North America’s Top Software Stock Picker by StarMine.
Mr. Wright has an MBA in Finance from Concordia University and a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
