Edith L. Curry

Ms. Curry’s background includes management, finance and accounting.
As President of The Brookmeade Group, LLC, Ms. Curry provided both financial and legal guidance to mid-sized and large corporations.
At Capital One Services, Inc., she structured a team of legal, procurement and contract management specialists that saved the corporation more than $160 million annually.
She personally handled several contract negotiations that saved Capital One more than $100 million.
As Assistant Treasurer and Director of Accounting for Nestle Frozen Food, Ms. Curry led an initiative that reduced supply-chain processes by 10% and invoicing errors from 65% to less than 4%.
She has also held management positions at a division of Hughes Aircraft, Inc. and USAir, Inc. as well as spent four years with the Department of Defense as a member of the Defense Personnel Security Research and Education Center (PERSEREC).
Ms. Curry has won numerous awards for her work and is a published author and speaker at industry events.
Ms. Curry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Frostburg State University and an MBA from Golden Gate University, Ms. Curry holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law and is a member of the Ohio Bar and the American Bar Association.
