Mr. Jassy was Chairman of Dewey Ballantine LLP (now Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP), a prominent law firm headquartered in New York that today has over 1,200 lawyers in 25 offices globally.
During his 25 years on the firm’s Management Committee (the last 12 as Co-Chair and Chairman), Mr. Jassy was instrumental in pursuing the firm’s ambitious growth strategy.
Apart from his management duties, he represented clients on business tax planning matters including corporate acquisitions, asset financings, leveraged leasing and international transactions for 46 years.
Mr. Jassy has counseled hundreds of businesses and their owners on a broad range of tax and legal issues.
