Gonzalo Restrepo López

Gonzalo Restrepo López is currently the Chairman of Fundacion Exito, Director of Fundación Proantioquia, Director of Didetexco SA, Non-Executive Director of Cardif Colombia Seguros Generales SA, and Director of Avianca Group International Ltd. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Almacenes Éxito SA, Chief Executive Officer of Caribe Motor de Medellin SA, and Chief Executive Officer of Caribú Internacional S.a.
He was also the Chairman of Ecopetrol SA and La Fondation d'Entreprise Groupe Casino, Vice Chairman of ISAGEN SA ESP, and Director of Smurfit Kappa Group Plc, Casino, Guichard-Perrachon SA, Grupo Argos SA, MECOsoft SA, Food Marketplace, Inc., Compañía de Empaques SA, Confecciones Colombia SA, The Consumer Goods Forum, Finevesa SA, Fundación Ferrocarriles de Antioquia, Fundación FES Social, Corporacion Futuro para la Niñez, Marquillas SA, Metro de Medellín Ltda., and GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg VZW.
Mr. Restrepo López received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1973 and his MBA from the University of Georgia in 1976.
