Prior to joining Freeman Associates, Dr. Gray was a founding partner of Matikos Capital Management, where he was responsible for the development of a risk-controlled, quantitative market neutral hedge fund.
Additional investment experience includes Barclays Global Investors, where Dr. Gray developed and managed new domestic equity strategies by researching, building, and implementing quantitative models, and Bankers Trust, where he traded and managed quantitatively-based market neutral and enhanced index strategies.
He holds a Ph.D.
in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.S.E.
in Engineering-Physics from the University of Michigan.
