Mr. Michael Margolis is Research Partner at Google Ventures.
He joined the firm in 2006.
He conducted research for Gmail and Google Talk, led the UX Research team for Google Apps, and managed the User Experience team in Google's Seattle and Kirkland offices.
Mr. Margolis has over 20 years of experience helping teams create new products and businesses based on better understandings of their users.
Mr. Margolis has worked for a wide range of employers and clients, including The Learning Company, Electronic Arts, America Online, Alcoa, DuPont, Ericsson, Incyte, Palm, Maytag, Unilever, and Sun Microsystems.
After the dotcom bust, he joined Walmart.com, where he helped launch and grow many new online and cross-channel businesses.
Mr. Margolis earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in anthropology from Stanford University.
After many years in the SF Bay Area, Michael is living happily ever after in the Seattle area.
