Roland Courtois

Mr. Roland Courtois is a Director at MMV Financial, Inc. He is the Portfolio Manager, Industries and Services for Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec.
His business experience spans over more than 30 years.
The experience he has garnered over the years is enviable, whether it was through the consulting arm (M&A, general management, etc.) of large accounting firms, or through setting up and managing his own distribution and retail business, or through managing the Canadian distribution network of a major multinational industrial products company.
In 1998, Mr. Courtois joined the Solidarity Fund where, as Portfolio Manager, he is responsible for investing in businesses that are in a position to contribute to Quebec’s economic development; in the past five years, his scope of investment has specifically been the financial services industry.
Mr. Courtois obtained an MBA from the University of Western Ontario in1974 and the Chartered Accountant designation in 1976.
