Rupert William Elwes

Mr. Rupert W.
Elwes is a Head of Private Clients at Waverton Investment Management Ltd.
He looks after direct client relationships taking responsibility for portfolio construction through to reporting.
Mr. Elwes was instrumental in establishing the offshore proposition at Waverton and consequently has a particular specialism looking after international clients, including, trusts, offshore bond funds and offshore trust structures with international tax considerations.
He also looks after resident domiciled clients working closely with his families across multiple generations of beneficiaries.
Rupert has experience with complex structures including US reporting requirements.
Mr. Elwes works closely with the in-house financial planning team to assist clients in all aspects of their financial journey and is part of the Management Committee.
Prior to coming to Waverton Investment Management in 2001, he gained investment experience at INVESCO Asset Management and Ely Fund Managers.
Mr. Elwes has a degree in Geography from Exeter University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) having passed the CISI Diploma.
