Thorben Hett

Mr. Thorben Hett is an Associate at SVB Capital.
Before joining SVB Capital in 2007, Mr. Hett worked at Sony Venture Capital, the strategic venture capital arm of Sony.
While at Sony Venture Capital, he identified and analyzed investments in technology start-ups that complemented Sony's internal development efforts.
In addition to deal origination and execution, Mr. Hett was responsible for investment monitoring and management, including support of the portfolio companies.
Mr. Hett worked across all Sony divisions including Sony Electronics, Sony Computer Entertainment (PlayStation) and Sony Ericsson.
Prior to Sony, Mr. Hett worked at Intel Capital, Intel's venture capital organization, and Bertelsmann Capital Ventures, the venture capital unit of Bertelsmann, the German media conglomerate.
Mr. Hett was also previously employed as a Principal by Intel Capital Corp.
Mr. Hett earned a bachelor's degree in management and economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, and a master's degree in management from the London School of Economics (LSE), U.K.
