Clinigen Group plc ('Clinigen' or the 'Group'), the global pharmaceutical and services company, has appointed Peter Belden as Executive Vice President of Clinical Services with immediate effect.
Peter will replace the interim management of Clinical Services who have been in place since October 2019.
Peter is an executive leader specialising in transforming international healthcare service businesses, with a strong track record of driving innovation, expansion and growth. He has significant experience in the acquisition and integration of international growth businesses and forming effective long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers.
In his previous roles, Peter has been responsible for delivering multi-billion dollar revenues and sustained profit growth. Most recently, he was President of Integrated Commercial Solutions, a market leading pharma services and solutions business within AmerisourceBergen (NYSE: ABC), where he had full responsibility for Business Development, Client Services, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, Business Solutions, Quality and HR. Prior to this, Peter was Vice President and General Manager at PCI Pharma Services, where he led business integration activities.
