U.S. Bank has actively been engaging with both the administration and key industry groups over the past several days. During that time, we have thoughtfully built our process with both the needs of our customers and our company in mind. We received the final SBA guidance Thursday evening, which enabled us to mobilize our team to work around the clock towards finalizing our application process.

Our plan is to begin accepting applications on the afternoon of April 3, 2020. We will begin by contacting customers who have previously expressed interest in the Paycheck Protection Program. They will receive an email from U.S. Bank to request some initial data. That request will be followed by a request for supplemental documentation.

Given the significant interest we have received in this program, customers who have signed up to receive information will receive an update over the next several days. Existing customers who have not yet requested information can still do so via the U.S. Bank SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) inquiry page.

This is a digital process. Therefore, U.S. Bank will not be accepting applications in our branches or via our call centers.
