LONDON (Reuters) - British house prices in April were 0.1% higher than in March and 1.1% higher than in April 2023, figures from mortgage lender Halifax showed on Tuesday, following a 0.4% annual rise in March.

"The reality is that average house prices have largely plateaued in the early part of 2024," Halifax's head of mortgages, Amanda Bryden, said.
