BEIJING, Nov 20 (Reuters) - China's exports to North Korea in October fell from September, with less outbound shipments of wool and hair for wig production, Chinese Customs data showed on Monday.

Chinese shipments to North Korea last month shrank 11.2% from September to $167.6 million by value, comparing with a 15.9% gain on a month-on-month basis in September, data released by China's General Administration of Customs showed.

On a year-on-year basis, China's exports to North Korea jumped 40.9% last month, slowing significantly from 135.9% growth in September.

Chinese Customs typically does not explain why trade with North Korea fluctuates.

Volume of processed hair and wool for use in wigs, the top Chinese shipments to Pyongyang, dropped 6,103 kilograms to 199,879 kilograms last month from September.

Other major Chinese exports to Pyongyang included cream, soybean oil and granulated sugar.
