Export inspections for U.S. corn and wheat have turned higher in the past week, but soybean inspections fell back.

In its latest grain export inspections report, the U.S. Agriculture Department said corn export inspections totaled 524,313 metric tons for the week ended Dec. 1, while wheat inspections totaled 334,653 tons. Both totals are higher than reported last week by the USDA.

Meanwhile, soybean inspections dipped to 1.72 million tons from the 2.23 million tons reported by the USDA last week.

China remains the leading destination for U.S. soybeans, receiving over 1 million tons. The country was also the leading destination for U.S. corn, with 279,563 tons inspected. The Philippines was the leading destination for U.S. wheat, totaling 110,035 tons.

Grain futures trading on the CBOT are mixed, with most-active corn futures down 0.7%, soybeans up 0.3%, and wheat down 1.7%.
