USA: crude inventories up, gasoline down
Crude inventories rose by 2.7 million barrels to 460 million units at the end of the week to April 12, the agency said in a press release.
Gasoline inventories fell by 1.2 million barrels, while supplies of distillates, such as heating oil, dropped by 2.8 million barrels.
Refinery capacity utilization stood at 88.1%.
Following this publication, US light crude reduced its decline slightly, losing just 1% to $84.6.
