Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 126,443 million against JPY 136,050 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 2,487 million against JPY 4,384 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 747 million against JPY 1,833 million a year ago. Diluted EPS was JPY 0.97 against JPY 9.16 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, the company expects net sales to be JPY 244,400 million, operating profit to be JPY 7,500 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent to be JPY 2,000 million, and basic EPS to be JPY 15.01.
