Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2019. For the six months, the company reported net sales of JPY 102,379 million compared to JPY 126,443 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,731 million compared to JPY 2,487 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 10,071 million or JPY 72.62 per basic share compared to JPY 747 million or JPY 0.97 per basic share a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 71.64 against JPY 0.97 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 196,400 million, and operating profit of JPY 2,800 million.
