American Bank announced promotions and staff additions. Gordon Johnson was promoted to president. Johnson has worked in the banking industry for 29 years in Montana and for the past six years for American Bank as the chief financial officer. Dick Walter was promoted to Bozeman market manager/executive vice president. Walter has over 22 years of banking experience both in the retail and commercial areas and the past seven years for American Bank. Prior to joining American Bank, Walter was an owner and operator of two auto dealerships in Bozeman for 20 years. Tanaya Carter was promoted to senior vice president. Carter holds a degree from MSU in Business and has been with American Bank in the commercial lending department for over seven years. Carter recently graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School. Nicole Ehresmann was promoted to vice president. She joined American Bank in August 2008 as a commercial lender and has over seven years of banking experience. a graduate MSU with a finance and economics degree. Marcene Huson has joined American Bank as vice president and CRA/compliance officer. Huson joins American Bank with 31 years of banking experience with 15 years in a branch manager capacity. Laura Lee has rejoined the staff of American Bank as the lead personal banker in Bozeman. Lee has six years of banking experience focusing on customer service/support.
