Amprius Technologies, Inc. announced it is hosting an event for customers, vendors, investors and partners to showcase its expanded production facility in Fremont, California, known as Amprius Lab. Amprius is increasing its capacity by 10x at its Fremont facility through the commissioning of its proprietary anode production line, moving the Company from kWh of production to MWh of production. This additional capacity will serve existing customers, including Airbus, AeroVironment, BAE Systems, and Teledyne FLIR, as well as supply the backlog of new customers seeking cell qualification in 2024.

The facility will manufacture industry leading, high-energy batteries delivering energy densities of up to 500 Wh/kg and 1335 Wh/L, and high-power batteries with discharge rates as high as 10C. During the event, invitees will have the opportunity to engage with Amprius executives on the expansion's impact and observe the manufacturing equipment. All new assembly and dry rooms will be available for viewing - along with mass production anode equipment, the same technology planned for the GWh factory.

Amprius continues to expand its advanced manufacturing capabilities to meet the ever-increasing demand for high-performance batteries. Amprius' next-generation cells are well positioned to power products in the fast-growing aviation and, eventually, electric vehicle markets, estimated to be collectively over $100 billion in battery demand by 2025.
