Aon appoints Jennifer Bell to serve as Executive Chair of North America

- Bell previously served as CEO of North America and will retire from Aon at the end of 2024
- As CEO of Regions globally, Lori Goltermann has assumed direct leadership of North America

CHICAGO, May 16, 2024 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, announced today the appointment of Jennifer Bell to the role of executive chair of North America, following her decision to step away from her role as CEO of North America and retire at the end of 2024. As CEO of Regions for Aon, Lori Goltermann has taken on direct leadership of the firm's North America region, effective immediately.

For more than 33 years, Bell has held leadership roles at Aon and in broader risk industry. Before serving as North America CEO, Jennifer served as Regional Managing Director of the Central Region, Regional Managing Director for the Northeast Region and Resident Managing Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland. Bell also served as founding co-lead of Aon's Global Inclusive Leadership Council and helped reinforce the firm's commitment to advancing inclusion with meaningful actions that reflect the firm's values.
